Muthadda Kalan is a village of Phillaur tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Goraya, about 7 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 2,400 people in Muthadda Kalan: 1,197 men and 1,203 women, living in 497 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 234, about 10 per cent of the village.
