Where is Naranwali?

Naranwali is a village in Jalandhar West tehsil of Jalandhar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Jalandhar, about 11 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Jalandhar (West) community development block and is served by the Kohala gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030442, and it covers 204 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 154 people in Naranwali: 81 men and 73 women, living in 27 households, an average of about 5.7 people per household. Spread over its 204 hectares, the population density works out to about 75 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 901 women for every 1,000 men.
