The 2011 census counted 1,444 people in Rehmanpur: 798 men and 646 women, living in 323 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household. Spread over its 86 hectares, the population density works out to about 1,679 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 810 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 143, about 10 per cent of the village.
