Sagarpur is a village of Phillaur tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nurmahal, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nurmahal community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030093, and it covers 167 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 927 people in Sagarpur: 474 men and 453 women, living in 192 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household.
