Where is Man?

Man is a village of Phagwara tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Phagwara, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Phagwara community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029664, and it covers 118 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 794 people in Man: 408 men and 386 women, living in 170 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household.
