Where is Baupur?

Baupur is a village of Khanna tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Khamanon, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Khanna community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033249, and it covers 146 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 290 people in Baupur: 159 men and 131 women, living in 42 households, an average of about 6.9 people per household.
