Gorsian Hakamrai is a village of Ludhiana West tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Ludhiana, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ludhiana-II community development block and is served by the Burj Man Kaur gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033636, and it covers 198 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 273 people in Gorsian Hakamrai: 146 men and 127 women, living in 59 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 198 hectares, the population density works out to about 138 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 870 women for every 1,000 men.
