Where is Himayunpura?

Himayunpura is a village of Ludhiana West tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Mullanpur Dakha, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ludhiana-I community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033569, and it covers 199 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,860 people in Himayunpura: 987 men and 873 women, living in 351 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household.
