The 2011 census counted 424 people in Shekhupur Khurd: 229 men and 195 women, living in 83 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household. Spread over its 107 hectares, the population density works out to about 396 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 852 women for every 1,000 men.
