Gill is a village of Bagha Purana tehsil in Moga district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Bagha Purana, about 2 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Moga-II community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033990, and it covers 774 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,370 people in Gill: 1,241 men and 1,129 women, living in 431 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household.
