Where is Mubarakpur?

Mubarakpur is a village in Dharamkot tehsil of Moga district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Moga, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dharamkot community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034041, and it covers 193 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 837 people in Mubarakpur: 460 men and 377 women, living in 154 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 104, about 12 per cent of the village.
