Kotli Mughlan is a village of Pathankot tehsil in Pathankot district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Pathankot, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Pathankot community development block and is served by the Kotili Mughlan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 027561, and it covers 252 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,336 people in Kotli Mughlan: 1,218 men and 1,118 women, living in 454 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household.
