The village falls in the Sanaur community development block and is served by the Alipur--Jattan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036651, and it covers 526 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,417 people in Alipur jattan: 761 men and 656 women, living in 246 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household.
