Where is Bhedpura?

Bhedpura is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Patiala, about 19 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Patiala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036583, and it covers 480 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,361 people in Bhedpura: 716 men and 645 women, living in 251 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household.
