Chaprahar is a village of Dudhan Sadhan tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sanaur, about 22 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bhunerheri community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036750, and it covers 186 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 690 people in Chaprahar: 375 men and 315 women, living in 112 households, an average of about 6.2 people per household.
