The 2011 directory recorded Sanaur, about 30 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bhunerheri community development block and has its own gram panchayat. The 2011 census counted 1,184 people in Hassanpur Kamboan: 629 men and 555 women, living in 212 households, an average of about 5.6 people per household.
