Jand Mangoli is a village of Rajpura tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Ghanaur, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ghanaur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036867, and it covers 472 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,565 people in Jand Mangoli: 865 men and 700 women, living in 257 households, an average of about 6.1 people per household. Spread over its 472 hectares, the population density works out to about 332 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 809 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 179, about 11 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 360 people, about 23 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
