Where is Pednni Khurd?

Pednni Khurd is a village in Nabha tehsil of Patiala district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Bhadson, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nabha community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036350, and it covers 257 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 526 people in Pednni Khurd: 270 men and 256 women, living in 94 households, an average of about 5.6 people per household. Spread over its 257 hectares, the population density works out to about 205 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 948 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 68, about 13 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 29 people, about 6 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
