Where is Sadhnauli?

Sadhnauli is a village of Nabha tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Bhadson, about 9 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nabha community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036469, and it covers 517 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 938 people in Sadhnauli: 495 men and 443 women, living in 171 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 517 hectares, the population density works out to about 181 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 895 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 114, about 12 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 614 people, about 65 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
