Rauli is a village of Anandpur Sahib tehsil in Rupnagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Anandpur Sahib, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nurpur Bedi community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 038444, and it covers 198 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 869 people in Rauli: 459 men and 410 women, living in 166 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household. Spread over its 198 hectares, the population density works out to about 439 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 893 women for every 1,000 men.
