Where is Rakauli?

Rakauli is a village of Kharar tehsil in SAS Nagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kurali, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Majri community development block and is served by the Singhpura gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039064, and it covers 96 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 236 people in Rakauli: 123 men and 113 women, living in 41 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household.
