Where is Mandhala?

Mandhala is a village in Nawanshahr tehsil of SBS Nagar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Rahon, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nawanshahr community development block and is served by the Mehadi Pur Kalan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032335, and it covers 155 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 99 people in Mandhala: 49 men and 50 women, living in 21 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household. Spread over its 155 hectares, the population density works out to about 64 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1020 women for every 1,000 men.
