The 2011 directory recorded Tarn Taran, about 17 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Naushera Pannuan community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037974, and it covers 329 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,896 people in Bathal Bhaike: 993 men and 903 women, living in 328 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household.
