Khadur Sahib is a village of Khadur Sahib tehsil in Tarn Taran district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Patti, about 1 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Khadur Sahib community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 038282, and it covers 1,613 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 11,054 people in Khadur Sahib: 5,795 men and 5,259 women, living in 2,027 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 1,613 hectares, the population density works out to about 685 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 908 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 1,318, about 12 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 3,335 people, about 30 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
