The village falls in the Naushera Pannuan community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037947, and it covers 329 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,698 people in Rasulpur: 1,395 men and 1,303 women, living in 491 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household.
