The 2011 census counted 739 people in Chak Depewal: 378 men and 361 women, living in 161 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 276 hectares, the population density works out to about 268 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 955 women for every 1,000 men.
