The village falls in the Gurdaspur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 028155, and it covers 133 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 697 people in Tatley: 371 men and 326 women, living in 106 households, an average of about 6.6 people per household.
