The village falls in the Ajnala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037331, and it covers 64 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 502 people in Kotla Kazian: 269 men and 233 women, living in 92 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household.
