Madhepur is a village of Baba Bakala tehsil in Amritsar district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Rayya, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 677 people in Madhepur: 365 men and 312 women, living in 139 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household.
