Mehoka is a village of Amritsar I tehsil in Amritsar district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Amritsar, about 2 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 1,432 people in Mehoka: 776 men and 656 women, living in 280 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household.
