Nangal Sohal is a village of Ajnala tehsil in Amritsar district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Ramdas, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ajnala community development block and is served by the Nangal Sahul gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037102, and it covers 331 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 982 people in Nangal Sohal: 533 men and 449 women, living in 197 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 161, about 16 per cent of the village.
