The 2011 directory recorded Tarn Taran, about 26 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Gandiwind community development block and has its own gram panchayat. The 2011 census counted 2,572 people in Chhina Bidhi Chand: 1,370 men and 1,202 women, living in 439 households, an average of about 5.9 people per household.
