Bhana is a village of Faridkot tehsil in Faridkot district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Faridkot, about 9 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Faridkot community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 035567, and it covers 1,050 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 3,523 people in Bhana: 1,870 men and 1,653 women, living in 612 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household. Spread over its 1,050 hectares, the population density works out to about 336 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 884 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 375, about 11 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 1,508 people, about 43 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
