Chand baja is a village of Faridkot tehsil in Faridkot district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Faridkot, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Faridkot community development block and is served by the Chand Baja gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 035561, and it covers 793 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,566 people in Chand baja: 1,353 men and 1,213 women, living in 450 households, an average of about 5.7 people per household.
