The 2011 census counted 1,712 people in Roranwala Urf Tarewali: 908 men and 804 women, living in 319 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household. Spread over its 569 hectares, the population density works out to about 301 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 885 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 221, about 13 per cent of the village.
