Where is Ghuduwala?

Ghuduwala is a village of Zira tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Makhu, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Makhu community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034320, and it covers 450 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,063 people in Ghuduwala: 1,075 men and 988 women, living in 388 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household. Spread over its 450 hectares, the population density works out to about 459 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 919 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 297, about 14 per cent of the village.
