ਜ਼ੀਰਾ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਕਸਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਹਿਸੀਲ ਸਦਰ ਮੁਕਾਮ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਐਂਗਲੋ–ਸਿੱਖ ਜੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ — 18 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1845 ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਦਕੀ ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੀ ਲੜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਐਂਗਲੋ–ਸਿੱਖ ਜੰਗ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਸੀ।
