Where is Kadabora?

Kadabora is a village of Firozpur tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Firozpur, about 22 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ghall Khurd community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034498, and it covers 317 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,075 people in Kadabora: 562 men and 513 women, living in 185 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household. Spread over its 317 hectares, the population density works out to about 339 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 913 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 112, about 10 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 229 people, about 21 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
