Where is Kandawali?

Kandawali is a village of Firozpur tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Firozpur, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Mamdot community development block and is served by the Kaandawali gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034663, and it covers 92 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 833 people in Kandawali: 436 men and 397 women, living in 174 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household.
