Mahmudwala is a village of Zira tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Makhu, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 851 people in Mahmudwala: 430 men and 421 women, living in 145 households, an average of about 5.9 people per household.
