Manochahal is a village of Zira tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Mallanwala Khass, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,152 people in Manochahal: 604 men and 548 women, living in 178 households, an average of about 6.5 people per household. Spread over its 754 hectares, the population density works out to about 153 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 907 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 170, about 15 per cent of the village.
