Ruknewala is a village in Firozpur tehsil of Ferozepur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Mallanwala Khass, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,181 people in Ruknewala: 617 men and 564 women, living in 214 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 145, about 12 per cent of the village.
