Where is Sulhani?

Sulhani is a village of Firozpur tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Talwandi Bhai, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ghall Khurd community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034462, and it covers 740 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,974 people in Sulhani: 1,049 men and 925 women, living in 377 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 219, about 11 per cent of the village.
