Where is Wahla?

Wahla is a village in Dinanagar tehsil of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Majha region, and the 2011 directory recorded Dinanagar, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dorangala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 027842, and it covers 72 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 136 people in Wahla: 69 men and 67 women, living in 26 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household.
