Where is Keshopur?

Keshopur is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bhunga community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030917, and it covers 74 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 291 people in Keshopur: 142 men and 149 women, living in 65 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household. Spread over its 74 hectares, the population density works out to about 393 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1049 women for every 1,000 men.
