The 2011 census counted 1,716 people in Mahiul-Dinpur Dalel: 857 men and 859 women, living in 378 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household. Spread over its 570 hectares, the population density works out to about 301 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1002 women for every 1,000 men.
