Mangu Mera is a village of Mukerian tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 22 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Talwara community development block and is served by the Mangu--Mera gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031331, and it covers 59 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 327 people in Mangu Mera: 171 men and 156 women, living in 80 households, an average of about 4.1 people per household.
