Where is Rachh Palwan?

Rachh Palwan is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 11 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dasua community development block and is served by the Rachh--Palwan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030962, and it covers 181 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 697 people in Rachh Palwan: 352 men and 345 women, living in 143 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household.
