Where is Rampur?

Rampur is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 18 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dasua community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031033, and it covers 641 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 1,033 people in Rampur: 489 men and 544 women, living in 231 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household.
