Where is Bagota?

Bagota is a village in Jalandhar West tehsil of Jalandhar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Jalandhar, about 11 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Jalandhar (West) community development block and is served by the Kohala gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030441, and it covers 136 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 65 people in Bagota: 34 men and 31 women, living in 14 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household.
